About Me
I am a Backend Engineer with 5+ years in PHP and Laravel, and I build the front end in React, Next.js or Vue when a project needs one.
The work I am best at is the part most people skip: schema design, queues, migrations and query optimisation. I own the MySQL layer of a news CMS whose sites serve 12M+ views a day over 3M+ archived articles, and I am its sole merge-request approver.
What I actually get hired for is changing systems that cannot go down. On a crypto exchange with 1M+ monthly users I redesigned the schema and migrated the full legacy dataset with zero data loss, then helped take the live platform from Laravel 8 to Laravel 12 one version at a time. Total user-visible interruption: 3.5 hours.

A cross-border payments platform. Every gateway is a swappable driver behind one interface, so onboarding a provider means writing a driver rather than touching the code around it. Three providers are wired up. Laravel API with a Next.js front end, shipped through CI/CD and holding Lighthouse 96+ in production.
A Domain Price Comparison Tool
This website allows users to compare domain prices. It consists of two parts: an admin panel built with PHP and a Python-based crawler that extracts domain prices from specified websites and stores them in a database. Users can compare prices, choose the best option, and view price trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

Redesigned the exchange's schema and migrated its full legacy dataset with zero data loss. Then, with a six-person team, took the live platform from Laravel 8 to Laravel 12 one major version at a time in under a week, on PHPUnit coverage written first. Also built its Redis-queue-backed notifications.
